Check out the many great dining opportunities in Georgetown!
Many guests have delighted in trying as many restaurqants as they had time for when visiting. The restaurants I am listing here are those that are our family’s favorites and ones guests have reported really enjoying. Bon Appetite!
El Monumento is a favorite and is always busy for lunch and dinner.
This restaurant features interior Mexican food. It is worth a trip just to see the $2M in landscaping! The outdoor dining patio overlooks the beautiful blue lagoon Blue Hole and I love to eat there during good weather. One of our sons thinks El Monumento is the best restaurant in Austin and Georgetown.
The Monument Cafe was built and is owned by the same man that built and owns El Monumento.
The Monument Cafe is always busy. They are a farm-to-table restaurant; serving fresh, never frozen foods for breakfast and lunch until 3 pm. They use as many locally grown items as possible. They have purchased peppers from Scurlock Farms in the past.

Dos Salsas Tex Mex has been voted “The Best Mexican Food in Georgetown”.
Dos Salsas is a favorite of ours for breakfast and lunch. If you visit at breakfast or lunch, be sure and ask for Tina or Chole and tell them Sheron and Dan sent you. Great food, and great service. Eat indoors or enjoy the outdoor patio. We love the daily breakfast and lunch specials.

Sierra’s Mexican Restaurant is a “hole-in-the-wall” family owned and run restaurant with very good food.
They have the best salsa in town. Great breakfast and lunch specials. Very friendly service.

Black Sugar Coffee is a local favorite and certainly one of our family’s favorite coffee spots.
Our son, pictured with Emily, one of his favorite baristas, and his daughters visit several times a week. Free wi-fi, many comfortable sofas. A great place to hang out and visit with the locals.

Gumbo’Gumbo’s North offers great, spicy seafood and live music.
Voted Austin’s Best Cajun/Creole style cuisine! American (traditional), Cajun/Creole and Steakhouse. Check their website for live music nights. One of our guests spent a week with us as they celebrated their 50th anniversary. They called for reservations and asked for a good table as they were celebrating their 50th. The manager visited their table and they received free champagne and dessert! Check their schedule for live music in the evenings.

Tony & Luigi’s is my favorite Italian restaurant!
This restaurant is family owned and is a favorite of both locals and guests. It has been Voted the Best Italian Restaurant in Georgetown. Great lunch specials and live music on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Reservations are recommended for the live music nights.

Wildfire on the square is amazing!
Great food, reasonably priced. Always busy. Anytime I am on the square at lunchtime, my mouth waters from the amazing aromas coming from Wildfire. Many guests have enjoyed the Sunday Champagne Brunch.
Time Magazine referred to Wildfire as a “reason to move to Georgetown.” The food is artistically presented but straightforward and hearty, appealing to both the epi-curious and the real meat-and-potato folk as well. Atmospheric and relaxed fine dining.

Laurie’s Cafe makes the most amazing quiche, salads and muffins.
This tearoom/restaurant is just off the square and is always busy at lunch. I have never had anything I did not love. One of my granddaughters loves to have hot tea there with the different tea services.
This restaurant is a moderately priced, casual theme style establishment serving authentic Southwestern cuisine. It is very popular with locals and has a main dining area and a full service bar with great variety of local and international wine and beer, as well as mixed alcoholic beverages. They have a beautiful tree covered patio which is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors with a house margaritas.

Catfish Parlour has great seafood and decor.
This is a very popular fried catfish restaurant. Enjoy a trip to the salad bar with your order and enjoy the fantastic hush puppies!

Longhorn Steakhouse is located in the beautiful Wolf Ranch center.
Many guests have loved it. I was not impressed with my steak the night we took a group of family, but our guests enjoyed their dinners. Several guests have said they enjoyed dinner here.
600 Degrees Pizza this restaurant welcomes dogs on the outdoor patio. It is a favorite of guests!
