The Shops at The Caring Place
I have volunteered and have shopped at The Caring Place for 15 years! The homes at Scurlock Farms were furnished through the stores at TCP. I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors and so many of my guests have been thrilled with their purchases at The Caring Place while staying with us at Scurlock Farms. Children love shopping in our toy and book departments. We call it Shopping for Good – every dollar spent in our stores goes back to helping our neighbors in need in our community, and shoppers receive quality items for pennies on the dollar. Check us out!
Wolf Ranch Town Center is a gorgeous shopping mall!
Enjoy this beautifully landscaped open-air community center with 80 retail stores and restaurants.
What makes Wolf Ranch truly special is that it has an interpretive nature trail, ponds, and scenic areas that reinforce the natural Central Texas elements of wind, water and shade. Enjoy the large outdoor fireplace in the winter or sit at one of the outdoor areas and enjoy the music.
If you like fresh produce, honey, baked products, etc. be sure and visit every Saturday morning for their farmer’s market. Many vendors sell out quickly.
Round Rock Premium Outlet Mall is a beautiful open air mall.
The mall is home to 125 stores including Banana Republic, Nike, Michael Kors, JCrew, and Polo Ralph Lauren. After a day of shopping you can relax at Chili’s and Le Madeleine or watch a movie at Cinemark 14.
Many guests have enjoyed a day of shopping at this mall that is only 15 minutes from Scurlock Farms.
There are many awesome shops around “The Most Beautiful Town Square” in Georgetown !
You can shop for antiques, fine jewelry, one-of-a-kind toys, guitars, wines, and restaurants all around the square. Diva Georgetown is one of my favorite shops! Check here for more shops around the square.
Check out the television program The Daytripper video about the beautiful square.
The Village of Salado was one of my mom’s favorite places to shop!
Salado is an older, very picturesque village, home of the famed Stagecoach Inn, with many unique shops and restaurants. Only a 25 minute drive from Scurlock Farms, it makes for a fun day trip from the farm.
Many of our guests watch Chip and Joanna Gaines on HGTV’s Fixer Upper.
A must visit for them is a day trip to the Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco. This is about 75 minutes from Scurlock Farms.
