The Caring Place
I’ve volunteered and shopped at The Caring Place for over 19 years! The homes at Scurlock Farms were even furnished with items from their stores. Guests love browsing quality items for pennies on the dollar—everything sold supports local neighbors in need. Children especially enjoy the toy and book departments. We call it “Shopping for Good”, and it’s a must-visit while staying with us.
Wolf Ranch Town Center
Enjoy this beautifully landscaped, open-air community center with 80 retail stores and restaurants. What makes Wolf Ranch special is its interpretive nature trail, ponds, and scenic spaces—perfect for a romantic stroll between shops. Cozy up by the large outdoor fireplace in winter, or relax outdoors with live music. Don’t miss the Saturday morning farmers market, featuring fresh produce, honey, baked goods, and more.
Round Rock Premium Outlet Mall
Just 15 minutes from Scurlock Farms, this open-air mall features 125 stores, including Banana Republic, Nike, Michael Kors, J.Crew, and Polo Ralph Lauren. After shopping, grab a bite at Chili’s or Le Madeleine, or catch a movie at Cinemark 14. Guests love spending a day here for both shopping and relaxation.
Georgetown Town Square
Dubbed “The Most Beautiful Town Square”, Georgetown’s historic square is full of unique shops—antiques, fine jewelry, one-of-a-kind toys, guitars, wines, and more. One of our favorites is Diva Georgetown. Stroll the square’s streets, enjoy local restaurants, and soak in the charming atmosphere.
