Pet-Friendly Stays at Scurlock Farms
Truly Pet-Friendly, Not Just “Allowed”
Have you ever booked a “pet-friendly” stay only to find your furry friend confined to a leash or crate — or banned from furniture? At Scurlock Farms, pets are genuinely welcome. Our homes let dogs enjoy the farm as much as you do — lounging by the fireplace, playing in the San Gabriel River, or romping leash-free across 172 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country.
A Farm Designed for Pets
Some dogs love chasing frisbees in the pastures, others enjoy quiet naps while you relax, and many find joy simply exploring every corner of the farm. Guests consistently tell us their pets have as much fun as they do, feeling completely at home and free to experience life on a working farm.
Guidelines for Visiting Pets:
-
Must be house-trained
-
Non-aggressive to people and other pets
-
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets
Freedom to Run and Play
One of the best-loved features for pet owners is that dogs don’t have to be on a leash. They can roam, explore, and truly enjoy a vacation like a dog should.
Dan and I are lifelong animal lovers — Dan rescued stray dogs and cats as a child — and we’re proud to donate 10% of every pet fee to the Georgetown Animal Shelter.
